Core Areas
Our Firm has specialist aviation experience which includes reviewing financing and transactional documents to comply with Malaysian law for airlines, aircraft lessors and aircraft financiers.
We regularly advise ship financiers on Malaysian ship finance law. We assist on the registrations of ship mortgages and provide input on their enforcement.
The Firm’s core areas of legal practice are in aviation and shipping, whether in finance, transactions, litigation & dispute resolution, or advisory, including aerospace law, maritime law, construction law, energy oil & gas law and international trade law.
Considered our forte, transactional shipping underlies our Firm’s practice. We regularly advise on the acquisition of ships, their registrations, their mortgage registrations, and their charterparties.
Our Firm has a long history of experience in shipping litigation. Our experience includes amongst others the arrests of vessels and their release, Mareva injunctions, charterparty & bill of lading disputes. We draft finance documents and issue legal opinions on their enforceability.
